L'Italie a consolidé sa direction au plan européen, et fait partie des pays qui ont adopté une stratégie nationale antifraude valable. Les résultats obtenus représentent la force motrice d'un engagement renouvelé et vigoureux pour protéger également les «outils réglementaires de facilitation» dus à la situation d'urgence générée par la pandémie de COVID-19.C'est ce qu'a déclaré aujourd'hui la Secrétaire d'État aux Affaires Européennes, Laura Agea, lors de la vidéoconférence de présentation du Rapport Annuel au Parlement - Année 2019 du Comité national de répression des fraudes contre l'Union Européenne (COLAF).

The proposal for guidelines defining the National Recovery and Resilience Plan has been sent today to the Chambers. The proposal was approved in its essential contents by the Interministerial Committee for European Affairs (CIAE) on 9 September 2020, in coordination with all ministries, Regions and local authorities.

The Department of EU Policies’ project that "carries Europe into the classrooms" through a series of multimedia educationals celebrates its tenth anniversary . The online platform is available to more than 11,000 Italian teachers and tens of thousands students of all school levels. This year's novelties include a e-book for more in-depth knowledge of the European Treaties, a handbook for teachers on European citizenship and the 2020 edition of the 'Trivia Quiz' online tournament.

Giuseppe Conte’s government gets the Italian Parliament’s confidence vote

After submitting his political program to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte obtained the confidence of the Parliament. With his team, he had taken oath before the President of the Republic last Sept. 5

New Government

On 5 September 2019, the members of the new Government, chaired by Giuseppe Conte, took the oath at the presence of the President of the Republic. After the oath, the first Council of Ministers appointed Ministers without portfolio. Among them, Vincenzo Amendola is the new Minister for European Affairs.

Senate approves European Delegation Act 2018

By 144 votes to 10 with 79 abstentions, the Senate today approved the draft law delegating the transposition of European directives and the implementation of other acts of the European Union — European Delegation Act 2018 — to the Government. The text now has to go back to the Chamber.
